Bulgogi Beef Roll with Enoki Mushroom.

Rate this post

As I mentioned before I love Korean food. That is why I’m trying to cook at home as much as I can. I read and watch how to make Korean dishes. So this is one of my favourite dishes. Sliced beef with enoki mushroom rolls with a lot of kimchi and other side dishes.  You may find similar dishes at Korean or Japanese Restaurant.  But making yourself at home is easy and tasty. The meat is marinated in Korean bulgogi sauce. And Enoki mushroom has a unique taste. The combination works perfectly with Bulgogi sauce. You can serve with steamed white rice, kimchi, and your favourite side dishes.

Good luck and enjoy 😉

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (package of sliced Korean Bulgogi meat or hot pot beef)
  • 1 package of (200gr) Enoki mushroom
  • 1/2 cup or more Korean Bulgogi sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 1,2 chopped green onions for garnish
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • sesame seeds as garnish
  • steamed white rice and side dishes of your favourite

Instructions:

    1. Wash with hot water and cut the end of enoki mushroom.  Be careful not to cut too short.
    2. Lay the beef on a cutting board brush with Bulgogi sauce and place some mushrooms on the beef at one end. Roll the beef around the mushroom fairly tight. Sprinkle some salt and pepper if you like. (I don’t use anything)
    3. Heat the olive oil or sesame oil in a pan and start putting beef enoki roll one by one carefully. After they have cooked 2-3 minutes on the four sides removes them from the heat.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the beef roll and garnish with onions. Enjoy 😉

Note: It is necessary for the beef to be sliced very thin, requiring a meat slicer. Since I do not have a meat slicer, and there is an Asian grocery store very close to my house, I went there to pick up a package of Korean sliced beef or hot pot sliced meat. These options work perfectly and are so much easier!
