Homemade Mongolian cookies. (Boortsog)

4/5 - (20 votes)

This is the most common homemade cookie in Mongolia. It’s called Boortsog. Our kids love this Boortsog. There are many flavours of this kind of homemade cookie. Some of them with Butter Ghee, sugar and butter, or with condensed milk. I like to make a condensed milk one. My family like this one. During the Tsagaan Sar, I make it with Butter Ghee.  It’s very easy to make, and tasty.  Awesome treats for kids.

Good luck 😉

We like to eat this cookie with Mongolian Dumpling milk tea 😉 It tastes very good together.
