Happy Spring my friends.

The Spring season is my favourite season. Very excited and enjoy it. Today I’m posting my boy’s favourite chicken wing recipe. Easy peasy Homemade fried chicken wings.
Wings are always a huge hit as an appetizer or side for parties and gatherings. These crispy wings are very easy to make and so yummy. It has very few ingredients and you can buy organic chicken wings from the Costco store if you have them near you. These finger-licking delicious wings can be eaten plain. Or toss them in your favourite sauce or serve them on the side.

Enjoy.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 tsp salt
– freshly ground pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup flour
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 tsp paprika
– 1/2 tsp thyme
– 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, optional
– any oil to fry

Instructions:

What you will need for this recipe:

Just a reminder to be sure to wash your hands when touching raw poultry.

  1. Rinse wings under cold water then pat dry with paper towels. Place wings on a baking sheet lined with a cooling rack then season wings on both sides with salt, and pepper. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, stir together flour, breadcrumbs, and all the spices combine well. Working one at a time, coat chicken in flour mixture.
  3. In a deep fryer or deep-sided skillet heat about 2 inches of oil until it reaches 350F (C177).
  4. Place a wire rack onto a baking sheet and set it nearby.
  5. Fry the chicken wings in small batches being careful not to crowd the pan. Fry about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove and set aside on a cooling rack to drain chicken of excess oil.
  7. Serve with your favourite sauce and side dishes.

Enjoy 😉
