Today I am presenting you one of the Mongolian Traditional food Buuz (Steamed dumpling). You couldn’t imagine Mongolian traditional party or anniversaries without this food. This food has so many different tastes and varieties depends on people and territories. In recent day, people use their favorite ingredients to making buuz with meat, fish, seafood and veggies. The choice is yours. My recipes is one of the traditional recipes so you could follow the fundamental methods and develop in your own flavor. Buuz are filled with minced mutton or beef, which is flavored with onion, garlic and salt. Occasionally, they are flavored with cabbage, carrots and other seasonal herbs or rice may be added as well. The extra fat gives buuz their distinctive flavor so try to use fatty meat. The wrappers for Mongolian buuz are pretty much the same as other dumplings, but they’re generally rolled a bit thicker.
